The Maturity, at 400 yards, is the final race on a seven-race card this week at Ajax Downs. First race post time is 1:45 p.m.
AJAX DOWNS, AUGUST 7, 2025 - Overcoming a slow start and some bumping, HAD TO BE FABULOUS turned on the jets late to win the $51,030 Princess Derby for 3-year-old Quarter Horse fillies at Ajax Downs on Wednesday.
AJAX DOWNS, AUGUST 4, 2025 - A field of nine 3-year-old Quarter Horse fillies will go to post for the $51,030 PRINCESS DERBY at Ajax Downs on August 6, but all eyes will be on HAD TO BE FABULOUS as she goes for her seventh straight victory. The Ontario bred bay comes off an easy win in the Ontario Bred Futurity, and in May, she won the QROOI Derby. The Princess Derby is 350-yards.
