Lansdowne Horse Festival: an Equine Extravaganza

Sep 25, 2017 Comments Off by Admin
Come to the Lansdowne Horse Festival: an Equine Extravaganza, to learn more about a variety of horse breeds: Morgans, Canadians, Draft, Mini, Spotted Mountain Horse, Gypsy Vanner mare and her baby, ponies, Arabian, Paso Fino and many more. Watch them demonstrate their versatility in gaming, driving, jumping, and distinct gaits. They also have a special appearance of the Ontario Mounted Special Services Unit.  Come and play with kid friendly horse’s bones, braid a horse’s tail and learn to wrap a horse’s leg.  Watch as a farrier puts shoes on a horse or have your “horsey”scope read. Have you ever seen a horse ambulance?  They have it all and more.  What better way to celebrate Canada’s anniversary than to be among friends, horses and food?
This one day celebration will take place on the Lansdowne Fairgrounds 1186 Prince Street, Lansdowne, Ontario on Saturday October 14, 2017.
