“The Musical Ride is a moment of pride for me and for all of us as Canadians. The Ride allows us to celebrate what it is to be Canadian, and what better time than our 150th? I’m honoured to have the opportunity to take the salute and to be considered.” – Travis Gerrits
“I love to travel to all these communities across Canada and help them raise funds for their community or charity. People are so happy when we come and it’s a nice way for the RCMP to be symbolized in a positive way and showcase the good work we do across Canada.” – Cst. Melissa Trezak
“My most memorable Musical Ride was in my hometown Barrie. I hadn’t been there since I was 17, so it was cool to travel back and perform in front of family I hadn’t seen in a long time, especially my grandfather. It was a memorable and proud moment for me.” – Cst. Melissa Trezak
“I love coming to work and seeing Gracie every day. I also get to see places I would never get a chance to travel to and to perform to help communities raise money and have a positive influence, it’s really special.” – Cst. Melissa Trezak
