About Horse Day
Each year, the first Saturday of June is marked as Canada’s National Horse Day. Together, Equestrian Canada and provincial/territorial equestrian organizations invite all Canadians to take this opportunity to honour, discover, and explore the equestrian world. Horse Day is also a great chance to recognize the contributions made by horses in our nation's heritage and how they continue to be loved and enjoyed today and everyday.
