With assistance from The HOOPES Addis Education Trust, a Driven Dressage Clinic will be held July 23, 2026 as part of the 8th Great Lakes Carriage Classic (GLCC). The Agricultural Event Centre at Ancaster Fairgrounds, 630 Trinity Road South, Jerseyville, ON will open to competitors at 10:00 am July 23rd to allow a move-in period for equines and equipment prior to 1:00 pm clinic start time.
Ottawa, Ontario – For the second week in a row, Stephanie Bourassa led the victory gallop after winning the $45,000 Mark Motors Group Grand Prix on July 11 during the RBC Ottawa Summer Tournament II at Wesley Clover Parks in Ottawa, ON. She had also claimed victory one week earlier in the $45,000 Kubota Grand Prix, presented by Topline Trailers & Equipment Sales, on Sunday, July 5, during the RBC Ottawa Summer Tournament I.
AJAX DOWNS, JULY 9 2026 - At one time, a tall and gangly 2-year-old who showed a lot of talent but needed 11 tries to win his first race, PEIGHNTMEADIAMOND is now a polished stakes winner at Ajax Downs. The Ontario sired and bred 4-year-old Quarter Horse powered to a three-quarter length victory in the $44,280 Ontario Bred Maturity on July 8, upsetting a strong field that included reigning Horse of the Year Had to Be Fabulous.
