Today 20% of its profits are still donated back to kids’ organizations.

BOBCAYGEON, ONT. - Kicking Cowgirl Designs (KCD) who recently won “Best Western Boutique in North America” beating out Western Stores in predominant states like California, Texas, and Arizona is on the move. KCD started 6 years ago selling at Rodeos, Fairs and Plowing Matches with its mandate to raise money for kids feeding and sports programs in Africa, along with sending kids to camp in Ontario. Every February Kimberly Dawn has taken 25-29 hockey bags of supplies and spending 3 weeks working with kids and families in the slums of Africa.

Today 20% of its profits are still donated back to kids’ organizations, and after 3 years in its first 800 sq. ft retail store on King Street in Bobcaygeon, KCD will be occupying triple the retail space at 73A Bolton Street. “This year will be a game change for us, says Kimberly Dawn as we have expanded our line of Kicking COWBOY Designs, signed a Western Wear Distributor to sell the KCD Brand in Australia/ New Zealand, and a licensing deal in place to sell retailers in both Canada and the USA”.

Having being delayed because of C-19, The Official Grand Opening will be Saturday June 6th, with ribbon cutting at 10:30 am, country singer Ty Baynton performing, refreshments and more. “Once C-19 is behind us, we will continue setting up our trailers every weekend at the Rawhide, Ram and Black Creek Rodeos which is a huge sales and marketing tool for KCD” says Kimberly Dawn, but our new brick and mortar flagship Bobcaygeon location will give us more Brand exposure, create jobs in our home town of Bobcaygeon and room to ship our increased web orders and custom orders.”

What Our Clients Think

  • Horses are more secure and comfortable when trailering if they can face the rear, but they prefer openings.
