Bromont is hosting both Gold and a Bronze competitions this weekend.
September 5, 2026 - BROMONT, QC - The 2026 Bromont Fall Classic CDI launched into action Friday at Bromont’s iconic Olympic venue, with Olympian Tom Dvorak capturing the CDI3* Grand Prix aboard Sue Schramayr’s Hernando, a 2012 KWPN gelding by Bretton Woods. Quebec’s Béatrice Boucher, a bronze team medallist at the most recent Pan American Games (Santiago 2023), followed with a victory of her own, taking the CDI1* Prix St-Georges aboard Mystery, a 2017 KWPN mare by Indian Rock, owned by Camille Carier Bergeron and Gilles Bergeron.
Dvorak will compete Saturday in the Grand Prix Special CDI3* while second placed combination, Edward Ewbank (NZL) with his own Damsel BFF (2014 Hanoverian mare by Donarweiss GGF) will compete in the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle on Sunday.

In the CDI1* Prix St-Georges, Beatrice Boucher and Mystery, who made their CDI debut earlier this year in Becancour, Québec, obtained a score of 69.902% from the panel of three judges. The second placed horse/rider combination, Vicky Chrétien and her own 2017 Dutch Warmblood gelding Must B a Dream by Glock's Dream Boy, followed with 68.235%.

Bromont is hosting both Gold and a Bronze competitions this weekend. The Bronze competition is the season finale and last chance for horse and rider combinations to qualify for Caballista, Cheval Québec's inter-association finale later in September, which will also be held at the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park.
The Gold Competition will continue Saturday September 5, 2026. The CDI class will start at 1h10 local time with the CDI FEI Childrens Team competition.
The Bromont Olympic Park would like to pay tribute to Francine Bell Shorr, a respected Quebec rider and judge whose lasting contribution to the sport touched generations of athletes, officials and members of the community. A commemorative cocktail will be held on Saturday, September 5, at 4:30 p.m. on the terrace of the Desourdy Pavilion, bringing the dressage community together to celebrate her life and legacy. The event will also support the Francine Bell Shorr Memorial Scholarship, created to honour her impact by helping foster the next generation of dressage athletes.
