North Salem, NY – May 18, 2024 – Canada’s Erynn Ballard returned to the winner’s circle at the Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows on Saturday, finishing in first and second place in the $38,700 FEI 1.45m Jump-off presented by Fidelity Investments. She stopped the clock on the winning time of 35.61 seconds with Ginger Ask and followed closely behind in 36.17 seconds with Coconet.

On Sunday, May 5 the Bill Galvin Racing Alliance (BGRA) will take part in the Matthews House Hospice fundraising event, ‘Hike for Hospice.”
A charity barrel race for Makenna Zehr and the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada will be held on May 17th at the REACH Huron centre in Clinton. It will run from 5 PM onwards. There will be barrel racing, pole bending and Pee-wee barrels for anybody under the age of 12, as well as a raffle.
After last year’s success in their youth contests, the Bill Galvin Racing Alliance (BGRA) is again co-ordinating the Youth Literary Derby and the Youth Art Derby.
