Looking for Summer Assistant Riding Instructors

These people were from the first generation and were the inspiration.

Horse Cents for Kids, a non-profit charitable organization providing after school horsemanship programs for at-risk youth and western riding lessons is hiring 2 summer assistant riding instructors.

The positions are through the Canada Summer Jobs Grant so applicants must be between the ages of 15 and 30 years old as of June 27th, 2022.

Job responsibilities include:

- assist with grooming, tacking and riding instruction with beginner riders (mainly children)

- assist with horsemanship program activities

- horse care

- farm maintenance and chores

Individuals must have a strong knowledge and experience working with horses, good communication skills, physical ability to walk and jog beside horses and complete barn chores.

The position is for 35 hours per week from July 5th to August 27th (8 weeks) at $16/hour.
