2024 FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC) will be in Traverse City, MI from Jul. 30 - Aug. 4, 2024.

Ottawa, ON, June 20, 2024 – Equestrian Canada (EC) is pleased to officially announce the talented young athletes that will represent Canada at the 2024 FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC) in Traverse City, MI from Jul. 30 - Aug. 4, 2024.

NAYC brings together top jumping athletes aged 12 to 21 years from Canada, the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean for the chance to compete for team and individual medals. For the fourth consecutive year, the Championships will be held at the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival at Flintfields Horse Park.

The Championship allows youth to compete against their peers in a format similar to that of the Olympic games and other international senior championships. Competition will include childrens (12-14), pre-juniors (14-16), juniors (14-18), and young riders (16-21) divisions.

Canada will be represented at NAYC 2024 by the following athletes:

Young Riders

Pre-Junior Riders

Children's Riders

The Canadian Show Jumping team will be supported by Chef d’Équipe, Dayton Gorsline.

Canada is heading into NAYC 2024 after a strong showing last year where the Young Riders athletes captured team gold and an individual bronze medal.

“I think we have a great bunch of kids,” said Gorsline. “We’re looking forward to the competition and their performances.”.
