Who We Are
Founded in 1934 at Toronto’s Eglinton Hunt Club, Canadian Pony Club has grown into a vibrant national community. Today, more than 150 branches stretch from coast to coast, supported by 2,500 young members and 750 dedicated volunteers. Our members, ages 6 to 25, take part in a wide range of riding activities as well as knowledge based Quiz, and testing all the way up to the prestigious A Level. Many of Canada’s Olympic riders began their journey right here!
About the National Convention
We are thrilled to host Canada’s first-ever National Pony Club Convention, bringing members, families,
and volunteers together for four days of learning, fun, and camaraderie. Attendees can choose from approximately 36 lectures and workshops, covering everything from equine health and sport psychology to leadership development, marketing, and careers in the equine industry.
Supporting the Convention
As a non-profit organization we offer income tax receipts for monetary donations and we welcome support in many forms.

• Items for swag bags, the silent auction, or special prizes for awards
Sponsors will be recognized throughout the event, featured in our program, social media and may participate in a 45 minute lecture or workshop to share their expertise with our members.
Convention Highlights

Featuring: CPC Youth Congress
This intensive Leadership program supports outstanding youth Pony Club members aged 18+ through advanced leadership training and mentorship.

Leadership Training Opportunities
Volunteer Training -2 Days of Adult Education Sessions Designed for our valued volunteers at all levels of the organization National Youth Congress - Outstanding Pony Club members ages 16+ will receive 2 days of intensive leadership training with special presentations and guest speakers. (application based) Youth Summit -members ages 13+ receive an introduction to leadership principles & member opportunities led by our National Youth Advisory Council.
